Things are bad. Some people are dying. Many are losing their jobs. Our economies are being wrecked. And yet it’s an old Greek saying that however bad something is, there’s always a good side to it.
We stay at home, which is a symbol for turning towards the inside. We are in self exploration and we discover new things about ourselves. We are re-evaluating questions about life and death. We live in uncertainty. The deserted streets feel like a prelude to great changes to come. War seems to be brewing. If we live to tell the tale, our grandchildren will be fascinated. These are exciting times.
I’ve written much on the difficulties of automating your logistics company. So much that you might be discouraged and feel pessimistic about it. You may have a hard time knowing how much it will cost, whether it will be successful, or if it’s going to be a big waste of money. What do we learn from our current situation? That automation can be an exciting journey. Maybe not as exciting as COVID-19, but also not as risky after all.
